Southgate is an attractive family apartment community located near the intersection of Business 40 and U.S. 52 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. It is ideally located for commuters who travel to work along those two thoroughfares; it is also very convenient to downtown Winston-Salem.

Southgate apartments are designed for energy conservation, privacy and ease of maintenance. There are one, two and three bedroom plans to choose from. One-bedroom units are of single level construction and two and three bedroom units are two-story townhouses.

There are also one-bedroom units designed especially for non-ambulatory residents. A community building provides offices, laundry facilities, meeting room and a computer learning center for our residents.

Southgate has been selected to participate in the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Section 8 housing-assistance program. Under this program, qualifying residents pay no more than 30% of their monthly income for rent and estimated utilities.
